D. Marc Jacobs Jr. is a 1985 college graduate from a midwestern states school of theology. He is currently a Senior Vice President at PENNECO, a successful western Pennsylvania company specializing in energy exploration. He has been married to Sheila K. Beadle since 1984 and is the father of two daughters. His passion has become to reconcile the observations and discoveries in the world around him with the ancient, preserved record of the Sacred Scriptures. For the past several years, he has been teaching during the Fall semesters at the Western Pennsylvania Theological Institute, a ministry arm of Harvest Baptist Church in Natrona Heights. His classes and lectures generally fall under the category of “Biblical Worldview Studies,” but they are specifically focused in the areas of “Origins and the History of the Ancients.”
Mission
The purpose of this blog is to build the faith of believers and stimulate the spiritual sensitivities of the seekers. It will endeavor to demonstrate that the record of earth and human history found in the pages of Scripture is absolutely compatible with the natural evidence and is, by far, the most intellectually satisfying of the proposed cosmogonies. By amplifying the historical and scientific harmony, it is the hope of this author to remove the shackles that naturalism has placed on the soul of mankind, and validate the eternal, life-enriching truths left by the Creator in His preserved restoration guide to humanity…the Holy Scriptures.
